Year 15th annual festival Attendance 60,000+ festival-goers over the weekend Overview The festival features hundreds of author appearances and book signings, 100+ exhibitors and booksellers, non-stop readings on eight stages, cooking demos by celebrity chefs, poetry readings and workshops, panel discussions, walking tours, storytellers and hands-on projects for kids, street theater, live music, and a delicious variety of food, beer and wine. Admission Absolutely FREE and open to the public, the Baltimore Book Festival is held outdoors in tents. The event is handicapped accessible. Funding The Baltimore Book Festival is produced by The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, Inc., a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. Funding for the festival is provided by the generous support of our exhibitors and concessionaires (40%), sponsors (49%) and grantors (11%). The Baltimore Book Festival also depends on the support of the City of Baltimore, hundreds of volunteers and in-kind donations to keep the festival FREE and open to the public. Donations The festival welcomes and appreciates your donations, which help ensure that everything at the event remains free and open to the public. If you would like to support the event, please visit the Information Booth. ATMs There are temporary ATMs located on the festival grounds. Pets PLEASE do not bring your pets to the festival. Book Sales Books are available for sale at the conclusion of all author appearances. Programming Partners Exhibitors 10 x 10 spaces are rented for $400, $300 for non-profit organizations. We are currently accepting applications for the waiting list. Go to the "Join Us!" section of this website. Authors Authors who read at the festival do so by invitation.
