The Baltimore Book Festival features hundreds of author appearances and book signings, 100+ exhibitors and booksellers, non-stop readings on multiple stages, cooking demos by celebrity chefs, poetry readings and workshops, panel discussions, walking tours, storytellers and hands-on projects for kids, street theater, live music, and a delicious variety of food, beer and wine.
More than a dozen authors have already confirmed for 2013! Authors Peggielene "King Peggy" Bartels, Meg Cabot, J.M. Hirsch, Jason Mott, and others have joined the festival with more to come.
Book Arts at the festival seeks to highlight artists, businesses and organizations whose work and craft (graphic design, illustration, printmaking, etc.), pertain to the bookmaking and book preserving arts. If you specialize in contemporary and traditional artistic practices related to the book as an art object, this is the place to feature your work!
Relive the 17th annual Baltimore Book Festival through video podcasts featuring Emily Giffin, Michael Tucker, and others!
